Why do you want to work for Eco Modern Concierge?

This position is part time / on an as needed basis. With potential to be full - time in the future, does this type of schedule work for you?

Have you or do you currently work for another professional organizing company? If so, which company or companies do you or have you worked for?

Are you wanting to start your own professional organizing or concierge company?

As an organizer your day to day requirements include, but not limited to, physically organizing in client spaces like homes, small businesses, corporate offices, storage units, etc., shop for client products when needed on behalf of EMC, create product lists when needed, execute pickups and returns when asked, interact with the client, measure for product, Elfa custom designs and shelf liner when needed, donation drop offs, etc. Are these all things you are able and willing to do?

Are you comfortable working as an independent contractor?

We service all areas of Houston and surrounding suburbs generally within a 40 mile radius from 77002. Are there any areas you are not willing to work in?

As a contractor, you are expected to bring your own general supplies to projects like a label maker, label tape, box cutters, etc. If you are hired we will send you a list of general supplies needed. Are you willing to bring your own supplies to each project?

We require independent contractors insurance, are you willing to obtain? Typically (it is not guaranteed) it costs between $200 - 300 a year depending on the insurance company you go with.

Do you have reliable transportation?

We require background checks, are you willing to do one?

Are you familiar with Eco Modern Concierge's work?

Are you familiar with The Container Store's products?

Are you willing to wear a mask for projects if needed?

This position requires on the job training, you must be a self starter, team player, have a great attitude and willing to pivot, do you feel these are qualities you possess?

Can you lift at least 30 lbs?

Are you willing to climb ladders for projects?

This position is very physical and requires being on your feet for long periods of time with small breaks and a designated lunch break for all day projects, are you able to be on your feet for 8-12 hours a day? Most all day projects are 8-9 hour days and half day projects are typically 3-5 hour days.

What is your desired hourly pay?

We are looking for someone to stay with the company long term if it is a right fit, is this something you want as well or are you looking for something temporary / short term?

Projects typically begin between 8-9am, is being on time going to be an issue for you?
